Before I ever photographed people, I photographed place. Cross Lake Media was shaped on long days wandering Minnesota’s state parks, learning how light moves across water, how quiet moments tell the biggest stories, and how being fully present changes the way you see. Each of my packages is named after a park that marked me—Itasca State Park for couples and lifestyle portraits rooted in connection and ease, Tettegouche for elopements that feel wild, intentional, and deeply yours, and Franz Jevne for all-day wedding coverage inspired by vast water and the feeling of home. These collections are an extension of where I began and how I work: grounded, story-driven, and centered on documenting love as it truly feels. Lastly, Whitewater, known for it’s stunning fall views, it is for the storytellers for futrure generations as you relive your life in video.

How Long Have You Been Doing This?
It all started with a dream and a kitchen table on Oct 21st, 2020. Since then, I have worked with families, couples, and weddings. I would love to work with you to create your story.
Do You Travel?
Yes, I love to travel. The farther away the better. Know that my bags are always packed and ready to go on an adventure. :)
Can You Help Us Plan Our Session?
Yes, I would love to work with you to make your session or wedding of your dreams. Let's get coffee or talk over zoom to make your inspirations happen.
How Do We Get Our Photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos normally within two weeks for portrait sessions, and usually within four to six weeks for weddings. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
What Should We Wear?
1. What makes your feel good.
2. What is comfortable.
If you need help. Just ask. I would be more than happy to offer inspiration.
Why Should You Have An Engagement Session?
Show off your relationship and love. I want to be your friend and third wheel. Find a location that means something to you and your partner. i.e a diner, state fair, your first date location. And have fun. Don't mind me I'll just be the person with a camera.
